Life of Injured Employee at Sotk Mine Not in Danger, MP Says

The life of an employee injured at the Sotk mine yesterday is not in danger. This was announced on Facebook by the chairwoman of the Armenian National Assembly's Standing Committee on Protection of Human Rights and Public Affairs, Taguhi Tovmasyan.

“Yesterday in Sotk, the enemy opened intensive fire towards the mine for about 2 hours, as a result of which an employee was injured while carrying out his duties peacefully in his drilling machine. Our compatriot was transported to the military hospital in Vardenis and underwent surgery. I have been in contact with both the Mayor of Geghamasar and the hospital staff since yesterday.
