We Don't Have an Equal Replacement for Mkhitaryan, Mourinho

The Portuguese head coach of Italian club Roma, José Mourinho, spoke about personnel issues ahead of the return leg of the Conference League semi-final against Leicester City.

“Leicester City rested several players in their previous Premier League match. Their standing allows them to do so. We cannot afford that as we are fighting for a place in the Europa League. Mkhitaryan is out due to injury, and we do not have an equal alternative for him. Nevertheless, the goal remains the same: to reach the final.

We are a united team, and we will fight together to achieve our objective. I urge the fans to come to the stadium and support the team. We will win if we give our best collectively,” Mourinho's words were quoted by the club's press service.

The return match between Roma and Leicester City will take place on May 5, starting at 23:00 Yerevan time. The first match ended in a 1-1 draw.
