VIDEO: Clash Between Protesters and Police, Tensions High Outside National Assembly

Thousands of participants in a rally demanding the resignation of Nikol Pashinyan have gathered near the National Assembly building. An unprecedented number of police forces have formed multiple layers of barriers along Baghramyan Avenue in front of the National Assembly.

At one point, tensions escalated in front of the National Assembly, resulting in a clash between police and protesters. Opposition lawmakers called for calm. Protesters have taken a seat in front of the National Assembly building. Artur Vanetsyan announced that they will continue their march along Demirchyan Street.
