Instructions Received to Open Streets at All Costs: 'Hraparak'

'Hraparak' newspaper reports that throughout the day yesterday, police detained individuals. It is evident that they have received instructions to open the streets at all costs.

As a result of the police's brutal use of force, former MP of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation, Suren Manukyan, sustained injuries to his ribs and head. While participating in peaceful acts of civil disobedience, Manukyan was thrown to the asphalt on Khangyan Street and beaten with hands and feet on various parts of his body.

He was initially taken to the Shengavit police station, and then transported by ambulance to 'Erebuni' hospital.

'I have bilateral rib injuries, my finger is injured, and they trampled my head into the asphalt with their feet,' Suren Manukyan said in an interview with us.
