Zelensky Criticizes Turkey
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has criticized Turkey and Greece for creating new travel routes for Russian tourists.
“Greece's budget receives significant funds from tourism. Russian tourism brings in substantial amounts for Greece. We believe that they are profiting from bloodshed. On one hand, Turkey acts as a mediator and takes significant steps to support Ukraine, while on the other hand, we see the preparation of tourist routes specifically for Russian tourism. As a president, I must say that this is impossible if we want to maintain friendly relations. These are double standards. It is unfair,” he stated.
Let us recall that on the morning of February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the start of a special military operation for the demilitarization of Ukraine. In a televised address, he said that the circumstances “require decisive and immediate actions from us; the people’s republics of Donbas have appealed to Russia for help.” According to the Russian leader, the entire responsibility for the bloodshed will lie with the conscience of the ruling regime in Ukraine. He called on Ukrainian soldiers not to execute the criminal orders of the Ukrainian authorities, to lay down their arms, and to go home.
