Ministry of Defense Issues Statement

The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan has issued a statement, continuing its practice of disseminating disinformation regarding the border situation. In its announcement, it claims that Armenian Armed Forces units allegedly opened fire on Azerbaijani military positions located in the eastern part of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border on the evening of May 11. This information does not correspond to reality.

The situation at the Armenian-Azerbaijani border is relatively stable and is fully under the control of the Armenian Armed Forces.
