Photos: Brutal Force Against Protesters

According to somewhat unsubstantiated reports, the commander of the internal troops, Hayk Babayan, has received approval from Nikol Pashinyan to use brutal force against protesters, stated Sos Hakobyan, a member of the 'Homeland' party, on his Facebook page.

“They do not understand that there is nothing more precious for the protesters and all our citizens than the security of their future and their families in a Turkey-free Armenia and Artsakh. To restrain the police, a significant force must always be present at France Square. There is no possibility to halt the popular movement. The citizen is the master of his country now; the citizen makes the decisions, and that decision has been made,” Hakobyan noted.
