Every 50 Minutes, the Train Enters the Depot for Maintenance: The Metro Has Released a Statement

Passengers at the Garegin Nzhdeh Metro Station in Yerevan have been unable to reach other city stations. This was reported by 168.am. A citizen who called the media noted that a train with empty carriages passed without stopping to pick up passengers. The citizen insisted that just 5-6 minutes later, when the next train should have approached, the empty train that had just passed in the opposite direction again did not stop.

After waiting for approximately 20 minutes, people began to complain when finally the next train, which arrived with a significant delay, served them.

Auroranews contacted Tatev Khachatryan, the spokesperson for the Yerevan Metro, who stated that according to the metro's daily working schedule, a train enters the depot for maintenance every 50 minutes, emphasizing that there is no political undercurrent to be found in this situation.
