«Tatoyan, President!» Citizens Urge Tatoyan to Become Prime Minister

You have great public trust. The respect and love you have for the people gives you the opportunity to unite our divided nation, citizens told the former Human Rights Defender of Armenia during a public discussion.

One of them noted that during the June 20 elections, the people were divided into two factions, while a third uniting force never emerged. “We hope that you will be able to form that third force that the people will be able to follow with great love. We will stand by your side, unite our people, and work to create a new Armenia,” said a participant in the public discussion, viewing Arman Tatoyan as a candidate for temporary government leader.

“You will be the best leader; we have seen your work over the years,” he added.

The former Human Rights Defender expressed gratitude for the recognition and trust, stating that it carries a significant obligation. “We need to restore our internal solidarity. We constantly live in a discourse of ‘the old’ and ‘the new,’ ‘black’ and ‘white,’ and such differences. Hence, I am ready to invest all available efforts to restore solidarity in our society, so that we do not search for enemies within ourselves but unite for our progress, our goals, for our children,” said Arman Tatoyan.
