I Have Never Encountered a More Shameful Phenomenon in an Epaulet Wearer: Abrahamyan on the Conduct of the NSS Chief

Opposition faction MP Tigran Abrahamyan writes:

“I wonder how the people who serve under this individual—Sargis Hovhannisyan, the head of the National Security Service’s State Protection Department—feel. I have never come across a more shameful phenomenon in an epaulet wearer who doesn’t care about the uniform, the epaulet, or his service. There is no need to encourage the NSS Director because he directly reports to Pashinyan, and in his circle, such figures are considered commendable officials.

Who is going to deal with people like this or are you doing it on purpose so that people lose their temper and get hurt, and then you’ll say that you know the opposition is using violence against law enforcement? Evidently, the leadership of the law enforcement system has been warning each other about these acts of violence, right?

The state machine wants to present itself to the public with all its insolence and thinks it might go unpunished. The shameless behavior towards the journalist and cameraman of MediAHub should not go unanswered. Law enforcement system, if you do not respond to this, let us know for good, but do not say later that we are instruments, bats, or government puppets.”
