Real Threats of Organizing Mass Disorders Exist in Armenia, NSS Warns
The National Security Service of Armenia has announced that there are currently real threats of organizing and carrying out mass disorders in the Republic of Armenia. Therefore, it urges citizens not to succumb to potential provocations and to demonstrate high civic responsibility.
It is also emphasized that individuals should refrain from spreading hatred and enmity in society, as well as from inciting violence or making expressions that can be perceived as violent in public speeches. Such unacceptable behaviors can create real preconditions for undermining the country's internal security or for committing other criminal acts.
The NSS warns that it will take effective measures as provided by law to ensure public safety and to protect the rights and legitimate interests of the state and its citizens, neutralizing any actions that could destabilize Armenia's internal security.
This information was stated in a message disseminated by the NSS.
It is reported that the NSS is fully aware of the operational situation and will consistently fight against crimes directed at the fundamentals of constitutional order and state security. The agency calls on the broader public to exhibit exclusively lawful behavior and not to respond to provocative calls and appeals that may destabilize the country's internal security due to personal or political narrow interests.
