Kim Jong Un Calls for Preparedness Against Nuclear Threats

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has called on the military to be ready to undertake preventive measures to deter nuclear threats. This was reported by Газета, citing the local Central News Agency.

During a meeting with commanders of the Korean Army, he urged the military to be prepared for "all dangerous experiments and threatening actions, including nuclear threats, to prevent and fundamentally suppress them." He emphasized that only overwhelming military power can guarantee the security of the country and its people.

Earlier reports indicated that North Korea plans to conduct its first nuclear test since 2017.
