Yaroshchenko Claims He Was Tortured in American Prisons and His Health Deteriorated
Russian pilot Konstantin Yaroshchenko, who was exchanged today for American Trevor Reed, stated that his health has deteriorated due to mistreatment and torture in American prisons. This is reported by TASS.
When asked about his health condition, Yaroshchenko noted that it is "certainly not good."
"What did the U.S. authorities do to me over these 12 years since my abduction, starting from the point of torture? The treatment I received in American prisons was not the best," Yaroshchenko said.
Previously, he declared that he had spent nearly 12 years in U.S. prison unjustly.
