Fire at Yerevan's 'Old Yerevan' Restaurant, One Injured

On April 27, at 03:40, the Crisis Management National Center received an alert that a fire broke out at a fast food point located at 23 Tumanyan Street in Yerevan. Three fire-fighting teams from the Yerevan Rescue Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were dispatched to the scene.

It was determined that the fire originated in the 'Old Yerevan' restaurant at 2 Northern Avenue. The fire was contained by 04:10 and extinguished by 05:17. The first floor of the restaurant suffered damage, with approximately 200 square meters of property and wooden structures burned. The stairwells and wall coverings on the second and third floors also burned (about 50 square meters per floor), and the corridor doors and windows were thermally damaged (about 50 square meters).

Rescuers evacuated two employees, and one individual sustained burns to their hands. Emergency medical personnel provided the necessary medical assistance on site.
