Zakharova Comments on British Deputy Defense Minister's Remarks

The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, has compared the "depth of thought" of British Deputy Defense Minister James Heappey’s statements regarding the permissibility of Ukrainian strikes on military targets in Ukraine. This was reported by TACC.

Earlier, Heappey stated that the British government finds it acceptable for Ukraine to strike "legitimate military targets" within the territory of the Russian Federation using Western weapons.

“The 'depth of thought' of the leadership of the British Ministry of Defense is only outpaced by the intelligence of the leadership of this country’s Foreign Ministry,” wrote Zakharova.

“Are we understanding correctly that in the name of military supplies and logistical support, Russia can strike at military facilities located on the territory of NATO countries that are supplying weapons to the Kyiv regime?” the diplomat noted.
