VIDEO: "Who is Russia to influence us?" Vanytsyann
“No force can push me to go out and fight, especially in a political struggle,” said Arthur Vanetsyan, leader of the "Homeland" party and head of the "Honorary Duty" faction, during a conversation with reporters at Freedom Square today.
“I fully understand and realize that if there is foreign influence on the political circles of Armenia, it is destructive for our country. We must be guided exclusively by advancing the interests of our nation,” he noted.
When asked if Russia could also influence him, Vanetsyan replied: “No one, who is Russia to influence us? Russia is our strategic partner, but what does it have to do with our internal political issues?”
