Man from Lori Steals 151 Floral Wreaths from Stepanakert Cemetery, Attempts to Smuggle Them to Armenia

Law enforcement officials from the Artsakh Republic's criminal investigation department have uncovered that a 33-year-old resident of Lori Province, H.M., stole a total of 151 floral wreaths from the municipal cemetery located on Begzadyan Street in Stepanakert around 4:00 AM on April 22.

The man subsequently dismantled the flowers attached to the wreaths and hid 109 of them in a forested area near the cemetery while attempting to smuggle 42 of them in his Opel Zafira vehicle into the Republic of Armenia for the purpose of selling them.

He has been taken into custody by the Artsakh Republic police's criminal investigation department, which is handling the investigation.
