‘Do not think that by threatening and placing a soft pillow under our heads you can silence the parents of our heroic sons’: Relatives of fallen soldiers hold protest
This moment, the relatives of fallen soldiers are holding a protest. They have gathered at Aznavour Square.
“Do not think that we will ever forget what has happened. We will continue our fight for revenge. In his opening remarks, MP Gegham Nazaryan stated:
“People often ask, what if you were in power, would there be a war? We would not have allowed a war to happen, that tragedy could have been prevented. It could have been prevented if someone had simply not said, ‘I would rather be labeled a madman than be called a traitor.’ When they announced, ‘We are starting from our zero point, we are negotiating as we wish,’ it was already, unfortunately, too late for us to understand that our sons' futures were being decided. We have gathered to tell the government: do not think that by threatening us and placing soft pillows under our heads, you can silence the parents of our heroic sons.”
