As the reports indicate, while gathering broken branches of trees about 1.5 to 2 km away from the spot where the child had fallen, 32-year-old Zhivair Poghosyan, a resident of the Piruzyan neighborhood in Alaverdi, noticed that the river had brought the child close to some trees in the water.
Risking his life, Zhivair entered the river and managed to bring the child to the shore. He then transported the child to the 'Alaverdi' medical center with the help of a friend, where the local doctors performed miracles. The child is not in danger of life.
