Yerevan's Deputy Mayor Gevorg Simonian has posted on his Facebook page about his visit to 2-year-old Arevik, who was found in the Debed River and is in critical condition.
“I just visited 2-year-old Arevik, who was found in the Debed River. The child is in the intensive care unit of the ‘Saint Astvatsamayr’ medical center, operating under the Yerevan Municipality. The child's condition is assessed as critical. Our doctors are fighting for her life,” he wrote.
It is important to note that the mother of the child has been detained on suspicion of attempted murder.
