Video: Russian Citizens Clean Up the City While We Continue to Pollute, Says Mayor

During a recent operational meeting of the Yerevan city municipality, it was reported that eight administrative violation reports have been filed regarding the accumulation of waste in unauthorized areas. Additionally, seven decisions have been made to impose penalties related to the same issue, totaling around 120,000 dram.

The Mayor of Yerevan inquired whether these violations were committed by legal or physical entities. The heads of the administrative districts responded that most were indeed legal entities.

Commenting on the situation and waste accumulation in the city, the mayor noted: “Recently, citizens from Russia came to our city and were cleaning up, while we continue to litter. It is shameful for me; I simply do not know what to say.”
