Ukrainian Saboteurs Prepared to Blow Up Russian Humanitarian Convoy
Ukrainian saboteurs have been arrested in areas controlled by the Russian armed forces while preparing to blow up a Russian humanitarian convoy with a booby-trapped vehicle, according to the country's Security Service.
"During the special military operation for the demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine under the control of the Russian armed forces, the activities of a Ukrainian sabotage and terrorist group have been halted. They intended to use a booby-trapped vehicle against a Russian humanitarian convoy and military personnel," the statement said.
The report noted that from the hiding places set up by the saboteurs, security forces seized two Igla MANPADS, grenade launchers, three RPG-18 grenade launchers, a PKM machine gun, an AKM assault rifle, a PM pistol, 127 hand grenades (F-1, RGD-5, RGN), an anti-tank mine with a remote control fuse, 8 kilograms of plastic explosives, homemade explosives, 42 fuses and detonators (KD, ED, MUV), and more than 5,000 rounds of ammunition, as well as a sabotage vehicle PM-4, radios, night vision devices, and the booby-trapped vehicle.
A criminal case has been initiated against the arrested individuals under the article for preparing international terrorism.
