One crew member of the "Moskva" cruiser has died, over 20 missing: Russian Ministry of Defense

One crew member of the "Moskva" cruiser has died, and 27 others are missing, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported.

It was noted that the remaining 396 crew members have been evacuated from the cruiser by ships of the Black Sea Fleet and taken to Sevastopol.

Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the "Moskva" cruiser sank in stormy sea conditions.

"The cruiser lost stability due to damage to its hull while being towed to the designated port. The ship sank in stormy sea conditions," the ministry stated.
