Macron on Continuing Negotiations with Putin
French President Emmanuel Macron has stated that it is necessary to continue negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin. He made this announcement on Friday during a broadcast on France Inter radio.
“I believe it is our duty to continue negotiations with President Putin. There is only one channel of communication, and it must be maintained,” said Macron. In his opinion, the continuation of negotiations will help save lives.
He also noted that if France does not engage in dialogue with the Russian leader, then China and Turkey will be the participants in the negotiations.
