Dollar Value Against Dram Decreases by Approximately 50 Drams in 1.5 Months: What Is the Reason?
According to the "Iravunk" newspaper, there has been a periodic decline in the exchange rate of the dollar in the Armenian domestic market in recent weeks. The fact is that over the course of approximately 1.5 months, the dollar has decreased by around 50 drams against the dram. What is this trend, and what is it attributed to?
We sought the answer to this question from economist Tatul Manaseryan, who provided a concise explanation: "It is exclusively related to the situation in the United States. It is no secret that the U.S. faces serious issues with increasing exports, which leads to an artificially created decline in its currency. A downward trend in the dollar is still expected in the near future."
