Video: Pashinyan's First Visit to the State Duma - Meeting with Volodin
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with the Speaker of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Volodin in Moscow to discuss issues of bilateral cooperation. This was reported by the press service of the State Duma.
It is noted that this is the Prime Minister's first visit to the State Duma.
“Your visit will undoubtedly have an impact on the development of our parliamentary relations,” Volodin said during the meeting with Pashinyan.
According to the State Duma Speaker, the cooperation between Russia and Armenia in the parliamentary domain has been quite active. This is facilitated by the existing trust between the two countries.
“With your support, inter-parliamentary dialogue will develop more actively, and we will better understand each other,” added Volodin.
For his part, the Armenian Prime Minister noted that such communication brings new impetus to the relations between the two countries. “I am confident that our inter-parliamentary ties will develop,” Pashinyan said. He also assured the State Duma Speaker that he would support the work of the inter-parliamentary commission between the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and the National Assembly of Armenia.
