Toshiba Suspends Orders and Investments in Russia

The Japanese Toshiba Corporation has suspended orders and investments in Russia. This was reported by Kp.ru.

In a widespread statement, they mentioned: “We are very concerned about the situation in Ukraine and deeply mourn the victims of this conflict. ... Toshiba Group has ceased accepting orders and investments in Russia. We will continue to monitor the situation and have high hopes for an early resolution of the conflict,” the company stated on its website.

It was also reported that Toshiba Group will donate 100 million yen to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and the non-profit organization Japan Platform to provide humanitarian assistance to the affected.
