They Know What This Will Lead To: Russia Warns Finland and Sweden

Russia has issued all warnings to Sweden and Finland regarding the consequences of their potential NATO membership. This was stated by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, in an interview with the 'Russia-24' television channel on Wednesday.

“Brussels, under the auspices of the United States, has long involved Sweden and Finland in their structures. Various hybrid measures have been taken under the guise of exercises or drills to actually draw them in. We have issued all our warnings—both publicly and through bilateral channels. They are aware of this, so there is nothing to be surprised about. They are informed about everything, about what it will lead to,” Zakharova noted.
