Russian Ministry of Defense Releases New Data on Ukrainian National Guard Losses
The Russian Ministry of Defense has released new data on the losses of the Ukrainian National Guard during the special operation of the Russian Armed Forces via its Telegram channels.
According to the statement, "Today we are publishing information regarding significant losses among the servicemen of the Fourth Operational Brigade of the National Guard (unit 3018) as of March 29, 2022." The ministry claims that the information is derived from authentic Ukrainian documents.
On Monday, the Russian Ministry of Defense began to release lists of deceased Ukrainian servicemen, including their personal information.
The military department of Russia has also stated that it possesses data on a large number of Ukrainian wounded and missing individuals, as well as information on the actual losses of the Ukrainian army, the National Guard, and foreign mercenaries who have arrived.
Previously, the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Major General Igor Konashenkov, reported that the irretrievable losses of Ukrainian troops and mercenaries amount to 23,367 individuals.
