Russian Defense Ministry Warns of Epidemic Disaster Threat in Mykolaiv

The Russian Defense Ministry has warned that the city of Mykolaiv in Ukraine may find itself in an epidemic disaster zone.

It has been noted that, against the backdrop of a severe humanitarian situation, municipal services are not operating in the area, and central water supply has been cut off.

Lieutenant General Mikhail Mizintsev, head of the National Defense Management Center of the Russian Federation, stated that humanitarian aid is being stolen by local authorities and sold at inflated prices on the shelves of stores and pharmacies.

“If local authorities fail to take immediate measures to restore the city’s life support systems, Mykolaiv will find itself in an epidemic disaster zone,” said Mizintsev.
