Russia Does Not Plan to Impose Visa Restrictions on Ukrainian Citizens

Russia has no plans to introduce any visa restrictions for Ukrainian citizens. This was stated on Wednesday by the Secretary of State, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation, Evgeny Ivanov, in an interview with TASS.

“No, we do not have such plans,” he said in response to a related question. “We have no problem with fighting against citizens of those (European) countries, and if they want to come, let them come, as long as all this occurs within the framework of current Russian legislation, and these people are not on the lists that are banned from entering the territory of the Russian Federation,” he added.
