Address Your Questions to the Russian Defense Ministry: Peskov to Reporter

The press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Peskov, has referred questions regarding the organization of humanitarian corridors for the exit of civilians from Mariupol to the Russian Ministry of Defense. He stated, “Address your questions to the Russian Defense Ministry,” in response to a reporter's inquiry about where the humanitarian corridors from Mariupol would lead—whether to Ukrainian territory or under the control of Donbas forces.

Peskov noted that the Russian Ministry of Defense had previously provided information regarding this issue. On Wednesday, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine Iryna Vereshchuk announced that a preliminary agreement had been reached to organize a humanitarian corridor for the residents of Mariupol.
