38-Year-Old Man Stabs Uncle: Investigative Committee Details the Case
The Investigative Committee of Armenia has revealed the circumstances surrounding the serious injury inflicted by a 38-year-old resident of Armavir region on his uncle.
According to the factual data obtained by the investigation, on October 25, 2021, at approximately 15:30, the 38-year-old man engaged in a dispute with his uncle at the latter's home in the village of Yeraskhahun regarding the rental of a piece of land belonging to the uncle. During the argument, he stabbed his uncle multiple times with a folding knife, causing life-threatening injuries.
Based on the collected evidence, the 38-year-old man has been charged under Article 112, Part 1 of the Criminal Code of Armenia. As a measure of restraint, he has been placed under a signature not to leave his residence.
The preliminary investigation has been completed, and the criminal case has been sent to court with an indictment.
