Emergency Incident in Hrazdan: Police Discover Substance Similar to TNT

On April 20th, an emergency incident occurred in the Kotayk region. Around 5:30 PM, the Ministry of Emergency Situations' 911 crisis management center received a call regarding a suspicious bag located in the basement of a building in the Kentron district of Hrazdan, with the possibility that it contained explosives.

According to reports from the scene, the Hrazdan fire and rescue brigade, numbered 48, promptly arrived to investigate. Police found a bag in the basement of building No. 19 in the Kentron district, containing a substance resembling approximately 20 kg of TNT.

The rescuers and police safely removed the bag from the location. The Hrazdan police department is preparing materials regarding this incident.
