Pashinyan to Visit Russia with a Large Delegation: Who Will Accompany the Prime Minister
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has officially departed for the Russian Federation today. Accompanying him to Russia are Deputy Prime Minister Mehher Grigoryan and Secretary of the Security Council Armen Grigoryan.
Among the ministers traveling to Moscow with the Prime Minister are the Minister of Foreign Affairs Ararat Mirzoyan, Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Vahram Dumanyan, and Minister of Justice Karen Andreasyan.
Also included in the government delegation is Vice President of the National Assembly Hakob Arshakyan.
It is worth noting that during the visit, Prime Minister Pashinyan will meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin. The leaders of the two countries will discuss agenda items related to the further development of Armenian-Russian strategic and allied relations. There will be a review of the implementation of the trilateral statements made by the leaders of Armenia, Russia, and Azerbaijan on November 9, January 11, and November 26, 2020.
On April 20, Pashinyan will also meet with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin, and Chairwoman of the Federation Council Valentina Matviyenko.
The Prime Minister's itinerary also includes a visit to Nizhny Novgorod.
