Major Car Accident in Yerevan: One Vehicle Breaks Iron Barrier at Overpass

A major car accident occurred yesterday in Yerevan. Around 10:00 PM, at the intersection of Halabyan and Arzumanyan streets, the vehicles driven by Yerevan residents, 28-year-old Hakob Gyurjyan in a Mercedes and 26-year-old Mayis Avagyan in a Volkswagen Polo, collided.

According to Shamshyan.com, as a result of the collision, the Mercedes went off the roadway and crashed into the iron barrier of the overpass, breaking it.

Preliminary reports indicate that, fortunately, there were no injuries from the accident. The drivers received first aid, but they refused to be taken to the hospital, stating that they were not injured.
