Zelensky Wants to Buy Time While Seeking Military Assistance from NATO, Vyacheslav Volodin

Zelensky is seeking to buy time with his statements regarding negotiations while simultaneously appealing to NATO for military assistance. State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin commented on the Ukrainian president's declaration that he wants Russia to first acknowledge its defeat before asking Kyiv about Crimea.

According to Volodin, Zelensky is merely attempting to buy time while reaching out to NATO for military support. He also advised the Ukrainian leader that if he 'cares about the citizens of Ukraine,' he should immediately withdraw troops from Donetsk and Luhansk, recognize Crimea, and acknowledge Ukraine's neutral status.
