Russian Defense Ministry Presents New Data on Ukrainian Armed Forces Losses
The losses of the Ukrainian armed forces, national guard, and foreign mercenaries have exceeded 23,000 since the beginning of the special operation, according to the Russian Defense Ministry, refuting Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's claim of 2,500 to 3,000 casualties.
According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the city area of Mariupol has been entirely cleared of Azov militants, foreign mercenaries, and Ukrainian armed forces. More than 1,400 Ukrainian soldiers have surrendered during the liberation of the city, and a Ukrainian aircraft transporting a significant shipment of weapons from the West was shot down near Odesa.
The Russian Defense Ministry reports that armed forces have struck Ukrainian military equipment and positions with precision missiles, resulting in over 320 Ukrainian soldiers wounded or killed. Since the start of the special operation, Russian armed forces have reportedly destroyed 134 aircraft, 460 unmanned aerial vehicles, and 2,269 armored vehicles.
