VIDEO. 'War with Stones'. New Footage of Mass Clashes at the Temple Mount in Jerusalem

Massive clashes have erupted between Muslims and Jews at the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, Israel. Reports indicate that 150 people have been injured. The unrest was triggered by a procession of Palestinians carrying flags of the Hamas movement, which governs the Gaza Strip. Today marks the convergence of two holy celebrations in Jerusalem—Passover for Jews and Ramadan for Muslims.

A group of Palestinians began throwing stones at Jewish worshippers near the Western Wall and members of the Israeli security forces, injuring three police officers with rocks.

In response to quell the unrest, Israeli law enforcement had to resort to using sound grenades and smoke bombs.
