VIDEO: We Cannot Be Part of Azerbaijan, That Would Lead to Genocide and New War – David Babayan
"Now there are only 'red lines' left; we are living in a new era, especially after the third war in 2020. There is almost no room for maneuver; there are only 'red lines', and this is also true globally. We see what is happening; the same events in Ukraine show that there is no geopolitical vacuum anywhere. There is no geopolitical free space on this entire globe where a country or a power can fill that vacuum. Here, everything has become a 'red line' as well. This means that the existence and future of Artsakh are now at stake. The greatest 'red line', which unfortunately is also marked with the blood of our children and heroes, is that we will not be part of Azerbaijan in any status; this is unacceptable for the people and for everyone because it would lead to the depopulation of Artsakh, genocide, and a new war. We will also not relinquish our occupied territories," David Babayan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Artsakh, stated in an interview with 168.am, responding to the question about the 'red lines' regarding the resolution of the Artsakh issue for the official Stepanakert.
