Avinyan Continues Shadow Governance of Yerevan: 'Hraparak'

'Hraparak' newspaper reports that Tigran Avinyan continues to shadow govern Yerevan, particularly implementing a vigorous кадровая политика ahead of the elections by solidifying his backing in various locations. In the coming days, it is expected that the Mayor of the Central district, Avet Poghosyan, who is from the Armenian National Congress, will also resign from his position. Avinyan aims to appoint one of his classmates, a person named Samvel, to be the new Mayor of the Central district. Samvel has just arrived from the United States, where he had been living temporarily and conducting business activities for the past couple of weeks. Especially in the Central district, Avinyan intends to appoint someone he trusts, as the political positions of the ruling party are notably weaker in this community.
