Russian Army Captures Stronghold of Ukrainian Armed Forces in Kharkiv Region

The Russian forces have captured the village of Kamyanka, which is one of the most fortified defensive lines of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Izium region of Kharkiv, according to the Ministry of Defense.

"The T-72B3-M tank crews have devastated the enemy's tank and anti-tank defense lines, engaging in arduous battles. The capture and maintenance of the settlement have allowed the main forces to achieve success during the offensive," the ministry stated.

Following the battle, tank crews from the Western Military District were awarded state military honors at the front line. "Medals for Valor were awarded to the sergeants, commanders, and tank battalion officers who displayed courage and heroism in capturing one of the most fortified defensive lines in the Izium region," the Ministry of Defense concluded.
