Criminal Case Initiated Following Death of Zipline Employee

The Investigative Committee of Armenia is conducting an inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the death of a Zipline employee at the "Yerevan Dream" park.

On April 10, 2022, at 18:58, a report was received from a citizen stating that an individual had fallen from the Zipline and sustained bodily injuries. On the same day, the Mikaelyan Medical Center reported that a 44-year-old man had been admitted with polytrauma and traumatic shock but did not regain consciousness and died.

A criminal case has been initiated at the Arabkir Police Department under Part 2 of Article 157 of the Criminal Code of Armenia, and the investigation has been assigned to the Arabkir division of the Yerevan Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee.

It has been established that the Zipline employee fell from a height at the aforementioned park, and forensic medical examinations have been ordered. The investigation is ongoing.
