Complications from a Simple Toothache in a 12-Year-Old: Armen Muradyan

The rector of Yerevan State Medical University, Armen Muradyan, posted on his Facebook page: "Dear parents, once again be informed. The 12-year-old child depicted in the photo is suffering from complications arising from a simple toothache. For days, ineffective medications have been taken, however... Such cases are extremely dangerous and pose several life-threatening complications. Remain vigilant, even in the case of a simple toothache, promptly consult a pediatric dentist and refrain from the unreasonable prolonged use of painkillers.

Fortunately, the child has successfully undergone surgery at the 'Muratsan' University Hospital's Pediatric Maxillofacial Surgery and ENT Clinic. They are currently in the postoperative recovery phase, and there is no threat to their life."
