What Did Pashinyan and Michel Discuss? Government Provides Details
During his working visit to Brussels, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held a private conversation with the President of the European Council, Charles Michel. This was reported by the Government.
The interlocutors addressed the upcoming trilateral meeting between Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan of the Republic of Armenia, President Charles Michel of the European Council, and President Ilham Aliyev of the Republic of Azerbaijan, emphasizing the importance of continuing dialogue.
Nikol Pashinyan presented the situation created in Artsakh as a result of the recent actions of Azerbaijani units, humanitarian issues, and stressed the need for a timely response from the international community.
The Prime Minister and Charles Michel exchanged views on the implementation of the agreements reached during the trilateral meeting held in Brussels on December 14 of the previous year.
Both parties expressed hope that today’s trilateral negotiations would be effective, contributing to stability and a comprehensive resolution of issues.
Pashinyan and Michel also discussed matters related to the Armenia-EU bilateral agenda, particularly the implementation of the economic and investment plan of 2.6 billion euros announced by the EU for Armenia.
