Serious Car Accident in Yerevan: Collision between Ford Mustang and Military Delegation Escort Toyota Camry

A car accident occurred today in Yerevan. Around 5:20 PM, at the intersection of Grigor Lusavorich and Argishti streets, near the Yerevan City Hall, a collision took place between a Ford Mustang driven by 31-year-old Gevorg Gabrielyan, with license plate 50 OO 006, and a Toyota Camry driven by 43-year-old Levon Hovsepyan, with license plate ARM 141.

According to initial reports from the scene provided by Shamshyan.com, fortunately, there were no casualties as a result of the accident. It is noted that materials are being prepared in the patrol service regarding the incident.

"It is not excluded that the materials will be transferred to the Military Police of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia since the license plates of the Toyota are registered in the Ministry of Defense's records. A photojournalist reports that the genuine license plates of the Toyota Camry were those of the Ministry of Defense; however, at the time of the accident, different plates were used, and the Toyota Camry was escorting a member of the defense ministry delegation. According to preliminary information, the driver of the Toyota was the cause of the accident. The drivers underwent sobriety tests and were sober," the website reports.
