Three Soldiers Hospitalized with Burns and Injuries in Lori Province

An emergency incident occurred in Lori Province on March 17. At around 16:00, the White Medical Center reported to the Spitak police that three individuals were transported to them with diagnoses including "first and second-degree burns to the facial area," "first and second-degree burns to the facial area and the outer surface of the right wrist," and "first and second-degree burns to the facial area, first and second-degree burns to the wrists, and a concussion."

According to Shamshyan.com, the doctors informed the police that the injured were under examination, and it was not possible to provide an explanation regarding the incident at that moment. While the medical staff were attending to the wounded, the police identified them as residents of Lori Province: 23-year-old Norik Sh., 23-year-old Narek K., and 23-year-old Hovhannes D.

Officers from the Spitak police department, led by community policing officer Papikyan, determined that around 15:30 on the same day, during a gas leak in an Opel vehicle driven by Hovhannes D., they sustained the described injuries due to the resulting shockwave. Materials are being prepared on the fact at the Spitak police department.

According to G. Shamshyan's reports, Hovhannes D. had emerged from a gas station located at the end of Shirakamut village after refueling the vehicle when the incident occurred. All three injured are serving in the Armenian Ministry of Defense's military unit N.
