Farmers in Khramort Create Self-Defense Units
In Khramort, soldiers of the Defense Army are prepared to confront potential provocations from Azerbaijan, and local residents have established self-defense units, according to CivilNet correspondent Haik Ghazaryan from Khramort.
According to Ghazaryan, Azerbaijani forces have advanced towards the village of Parukh. He noted, “If they capture the heights, they will have dominant positions over the neighboring villages of Noragugh and Khnabard.”
Earlier, the Artsakh informational headquarters reported that peacekeepers are stationed at their outposts and negotiations are ongoing.
“We inform you that the maintenance of the contact line in the direction of Parukh and Khramort in the Askeran region and the security of the peaceful population living in these communities falls within the mandate of the Russian peacekeeping contingent deployed in the Republic of Artsakh,” stated the Artsakh informational headquarters. “At this moment, peacekeepers are at their outposts, and negotiations continue. We again urge the population to remain calm, as the situation remains stable across all other sections of the contact line.”
