Identity of Dancer, Drivers, and Injured in Yesterday's Tragic Car Accident in Armavir Region Revealed
The identity of the individuals involved in a tragic car accident that occurred yesterday, March 23, in the Armavir region has been clarified within the framework of the criminal case initiated under the second part of Article 242 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia, as per the decision of Mathevos Manasyan, the senior investigator of particularly important cases at the Vagharshapat Investigative Division of the Armavir Regional Investigative Committee.
According to Shamshyan.com, it has been determined that the Mitsubishi vehicle was driven by 52-year-old Razmik Sargsyan, a resident of the Armavir region, while the Opel was driven by 64-year-old Galust Galstyan, also from the same area.
As a result of the accident, the passenger of the Opel, 39-year-old Armine Avetisyan from Yerevan, who was a dancer at one of the well-known clubs in the city, died on the way to the hospital. Another passenger of the Opel, 51-year-old Rouzanna Melkumyan, also from Yerevan, was hospitalized at the Vagharshapat Medical Center with bodily injuries.
Earlier, a photojournalist reported from the scene that a significant and tragic traffic accident took place in the Armavir region on March 23. Around 22:40, on the road of Margara-Ejmiadzin, in the administrative territory of Lusagugh, two vehicles, a Mitsubishi Pajero io and an Opel, collided on a bridge referred to as Sev Jur. One person, who was a passenger in the Opel, died at the scene.
