Today, on April 1st, an extraordinary incident occurred in Yerevan. At approximately 00:35, the police department of Nor Nork received a call from a resident of one of the buildings on Moldovan Street in Yerevan, reporting that about 20 minutes earlier, her former acquaintance had attacked her without reason, causing bodily harm.

According to Shamshyan.com, the operational group of the Nor Nork police department, led by an investigator from the investigative division, arrived at the scene following the call.

Police established that the caller was 36-year-old Heriknaz G., and the assailant was identified as 43-year-old Arman H., a resident of Yerevan. Investigative materials are being prepared at the Nor Nork police department regarding the incident. A forensic medical examination has been appointed.

According to G. Shamshyan, Arman H. is a senior officer with the police force, who was removed from the position of deputy chief of the Dilijan police department by the order of the Chief of Police of the Republic of Armenia, General-Major Vahe Ghazaryan, just a week ago. This is not his first offense. On March 5 of this year, Heriknaz G. reported to the police that her Toyota vehicle parked in the yard of their building had been set on fire.
